The Reverend Dr. William J. Barber II will be speaking at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport, CT on Friday Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. This event is hosted by Bridgeport Generation Now, a social action network in Bridgeport CT. The Center for Social Impact is co-sponsoring this event and has a few comp tickets available. If you interested in attending, please contact Melissa Quan - mquan@fairfield.edu. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tickets are also available for sale ($10 for Bridgeport residents and $35 for non-residents) through the Klein box office.
Rev. Barber is considered a leading voice for justice in the U.S. He is a minister, professor, civil rights leader, and co-founder of the Poor People’s Campaign, a national anti-poverty campaign.
