Pause for Peace

On Thursday, November 9, the bells on the chapel plaza will toll from 12noon-12:30pm in remembrance of all who have died as a result of the unfolding conflict in Israel and Gaza, and in solidarity with all those who mourn. In those thirty minutes, the chapel bells will peal some 180 times, perhaps encouraging us all to make a drastic turn towards a lasting peace that has proved elusive. When you hear the bells during this hour, we invite you to pause and pray for peace. Daily Mass will follow in the chapel at 12:30pm as we continue to mark the month of All Souls.
