In-person and streamed: Free, Powerful and Flexible: Doing and Teaching Statistics with R

The Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab is delighted to present "Free, Powerful and Flexible: Doing and Teaching Statistics with R", a workshop led by Dr. Mehmet Cansoy this Wednesday 5 - 6:15 p.m. at the Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab. This event will be conducted in a hybrid format. Participants can choose to attend in person or online. Interaction between online participants and the instructor will be limited.

In this workshop, Mehmet Cansoy is going to demonstrate how you too can use R in your teaching and research. We will work through a range of tools – from free software that looks and works almost exactly like SPSS, to more versatile tools that allow instructors and researchers to do more powerful analyses and cleaner visualizations. We will talk about what adopting these tools in your research and classes entails and give practical advice for doing so.
