Academic Commons Open House 10/4 2-4:30pm

On Friday, October 4 from 2 – 4:30 p.m. faculty, staff, and students are invited to tour the DiMenna-Nyselius Library and see the newly renovated Academic Commons on the main level, while meeting campus representatives from each division. The Virtual Reality Room on the upper level (room 326) will also be open for demonstration. Refreshments will be served, including wine and beer for faculty and staff.

Over the summer, the DiMenna-Nyselius Library underwent a series of renovations to implement plans to open Fairfield’s new Academic Commons. The Academic Commons is the hub of intellectual life for students and faculty of all disciplines and includes the following support services:

• Fredrickson Family Innovation Lab
• ITS Help Desk
• Math Center
• Office of Accessibility
• The Writing Center
