Little Lab for Big Imaginations (3rd - 5th Grade). These one-week literacy labs (each designed differently) are built for elementary-aged students who are ready to write in a variety of genres, to turn play in language (and language into play), and to use Fairfield University's campus as an outdoor writing arena.
Week One: July 10th - July 14th / Week Two: July 17th - 21st
Novel Writing Labs (6th-12th grade). These literacy labs for middle and high school youth who want to work on their next great novel. Each day is spent building a better story with exceptional instructors, author visits, creative outlets for tapping one's imagination, and time to write around campus.
Week One - Character Matters (focused on building character) - July 10th - 14th
Week Two - Plot Matters (focused on developing plot) - July 17th - 21st
