“Antisemitism and the Far-Right: A Challenge to Jewish-Christian Relations" with Rev. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski, PhD

The rise of the far-right and its various manifestations of antisemitism, racism and nationalism has garnered considerable attention. This talk will examine this phenomenon and propose how this challenge can be met by those committed to fostering positive relations between Jews and Christians for the good of society.

Dr. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski is the Kraft Family Professor and Director of the Center for Christian-Jewish Learning at Boston College. He is a scholar of Jewish-Christian relations and comparative theology and the author of The More Torah, The More Life: A Christian Commentary on Mishnah Avot and Christian Memories of the Maccabean Martyrs. His research interests include Jewish-Christian relations ancient and modern, the intersection of anti-Judaism and racism, and Anglican theologies of religion.

Co-Sponsored by the Bennett Center for Judaic Studies and the Center for Catholic Studies
