Cardinal Robert McElroy of the Diocese of San Diego, will share a 5 p.m. lecture titled "America’s Synodal Journey: God’s People Point the Path Forward" with the Fairfield University community on Thursday, Feb. 23.
The sixth bishop and the first cardinal of the Diocese of San Diego, Cardinal Robert McElroy is a steadfast proponent of the pope’s synodal process, with its emphasis on listening to – and empowering – the diverse voices of God’s people.
Presented by Fairfield University’s Office for Mission & Ministry, this event is free and open to the public. Prior to his 5 p.m. lecture in the Dolan School of Business Event Hall, there will be a reception with light refreshments, beginning at 4:15 p.m. All are welcome.
