Transgender Day of Remembrance

Please join Fairfield Gender and Sexuality Alliance and Campus Ministry as we come together in prayer and solidarity to observe Transgender Day of Remembrance on Thursday, November 17th at 7:00pm in Egan Chapel. Our interfaith vigil is offered in remembrance of all the transgender and gender expansive people whose lives were lost to violence this year. We come together to remember the beauty and dignity of those we have lost, to honor the resiliency of the trans* community, and to pray for an end to the violence directed at this vulnerable community. 

In all, your persevering spirit brought others forward behind you 

And move us a little closer 

to a world that more fully celebrates love.
