Jean Dreyfus Lecturer, Dr. Renã Robinson, "Why Diversity in Proteomics Study Design Matters for Disease Understanding."

Through a grant to the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, leading researcher, Dr. Renã Robinson from Vanderbilt University will be on campus November 3-4, 2022 as a Jean Dreyfus Lecturer. 

Dr. Robinson is a leader in proteomics, studying the biomarkers of aging and neurodegenerative diseases and she has an interest in determining the causes of racial health disparities.

Dr. Robinson will give a lecture that is open and appropriate for the general public on November 3rd from 10:00-11:00am in the Oak Room of the BCC entitled, "Why diversity in proteomics study design matters for disease understanding."

All students, faculty and visitors are welcome to attend. The event is also an FYE DEI event for first-year students.
