Date: 09-28-2022
Time: 07:00 PM
Location: DiMenna-Nyselius Library Auditorium
The KKK of the 1920s was a mass movement in the Northern states with 4 to 6 million members. This 1920s Klan aimed its bigotry not only at African Americans but also at Catholics, Jews, and immigrants generally. The parallels to today's cultural and political tensions are striking. Sponsored by Bennett Center for Judaic Studies, History Department, Catholic Studies, Black Studies, American Studies, Politics Department. An FYE-Thrive event.
