Dying Gaul Project exhibition and panel discussion

Fabric artist Tamsen Williams's installation of her “Dying Gaul Project,” inspired by the ancient Greek Hellenistic sculpture, will be on view in Loyola Hall’s Lukacs Gallery from Sept 26-Oct 14.

Wed Sept 28 at 5:00 pm, Sara Brill (Philosophy), Julie Learson (Theatre), Daniel Libatique (English), and Alison Poe (Independent scholar, Art History) will participate in an interdisciplinary panel discussion with the artist. Topics include gender in ancient Greek culture and art, and fashion history. The panel is followed by a reception from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please RSVP via link.
