Loyola Press Donating 100% of Net Proceeds to Support Jesuit Relief Services in Ukraine
Loyola Press, a leading Chicago-based publisher, has announced that from now until April 9, 100% of net proceeds of sales on select products will be donated to Jesuit Relief Services, to be earmarked for the organization's active efforts to support Ukrainian relief.
"Our hearts have been heavy hearing and seeing the devastation of the war in Ukraine," stated Joellyn Cicciarelli, publisher and president of Loyola Press." In addition to our prayers, we wanted to actively participate in the support of the people most impacted by this tragic act of violence. Jesuit Refugee Services is an incredible organization that is active in all war-torn areas including Ukraine."
As a result, the company developed an initiative that includes not only employees but their dedicated and committed customers across the country and the world in a way that everyone benefits. “Our charism calls for all of us to look to the margins to help those who need it most and the combination of sharing inspiring content while contributing financially to the cause felt like the best contribution we could make – especially during Lent,” Cicciarelli stated.
To participate, simply visit LoyolaPress.com/JRS from now until April 9, and place an order for one or more items listed. The titles were selected specifically to inspire, coach, and encourage readers from the perspective of Ignatian spirituality. 100% of net proceeds for these titles will be donated.
