May Course Design at the CAE

Join the Center for Academic Excellence for Course Design Institutes (CDI) this May. A CDI is appropriate for any faculty wishing to substantially redesign or re-imagine a course, or to design a new course. The CDIs can also assist you with the design or redesign of courses to meet learning objectives for any of the three Signature Elements of the Magis Core. In addition, we have worked to integrate into our CDIs all we have learned in the past two years about anti-racist pedagogy; look for our CDI to include many updates to our design from this transformative work.  

We will offer two sessions of CAE's Summer Course Design Institute. The first will be held remotely from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Monday, May 23 & Wednesday, May 25 with independent work Tuesday, May 24; the second will be held in person from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Center on Tuesday, May 24 & Thursday, May 26 with independent work Wednesday, May 25.
