The Center for Catholic Studies invites you to a movie screening and discussion with writer and filmmaker, Jason Berry.

 

New Orleans jazz funerals and Sunday second-line parades absorb the pain of death and the legacy of racism, soaring to joyful, transcendent rebirth. Please join us for a screening of the film City of a Million Dreams, which traces the history and evolution of this rollicking tradition, to be followed by a Q&A with writer and filmmaker Jason Berry.
