Join us on Tuesday, February 8, 3:30 pm– 5:00 pm via Zoom for three presentations around the theme of “Technology and Implications for Society and Culture”:
- “The Civic Engagement App: From Conceptualization to Implementation” - Tommy Xie, Professor of English and Amalia Rusu, Associate Professor of Software Engineering.
- “Exploring the Impact of Virtual Reality on CSR Communication” - Wen Zhao, Assistant Professor of Communication.
- “Tune Down the Misinformation, Please: Generating Corrective Messages for COVID-19 Misinformation” - Jie Tao, Associate Professor of Analytics, collaborators Dylan Meyer and Alison Kris, Professor of Nursing.
