  • I’m age 18 or older--why should I get a booster? Although the Covid-19 vaccines are working well to prevent severe illness and hospitalization, public health experts are starting to see reduced protection over time against mild to moderate disease. Individuals that have received the booster vaccine have an increased immune response and lower rates of “break-through” infection. This enhanced protection is helpful to you and others around you.
  • If I have had the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, when should I receive a booster? At least six months after completing your primary Covid-19 vaccination series.
  • If I have received the Johnson and Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, when should I receive a booster?  At least two months after your shot.
  • Am I still considered fully vaccinated if I don’t get a booster? Yes, everyone is still considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-shot series, such as Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the J&J/Janssen vaccine.

*Voucher redeemable only during normal operating hours on Friday, December 10 at Dunkin’ Library

** All students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate in the raffle.
