Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 2022 Vision Awards- New Call and Deadline Extension
Fairfield University’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee invites nominations for the 2022 Vision Awards.
The MLK Celebration Committee would like to announce the return of the Community Leader Vision Award. We will recognize a Fairfield County (or Greater Fairfield-Bridgeport area) community leader or activist who embodies the spirit of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We invite you to nominate an individual dedicated to achieving a "more just, humane and peaceful world."
Additionally, we encourage you to nominate a Fairfield University undergrad or graduate student, faculty, or staff member who demonstrates a commitment to the ideals and values of Dr. King. These individuals may be unsung heroes, working tirelessly and with humility to advocate for justice and promote unity in our community.
Please nominate members of our community who have been working toward racial justice, gender equality, environmental justice, immigration, or other important issues. The deadline has been extended to December 1.
