Lecture: The Art of Perception

Join us for this special event co-sponsored by the #UNLOAD Foundation and the Quick Center for the Arts. Amy Herman, founder of The Art of Perception Ⓡ, will present a talk using the art of Carrie Mae Weems to help enhance participants observational skills, to assist in identifying and understanding visual bias. This will be followed by a panel discussion with community members including former Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara (retired), Sharad Samy , U.S. Army Veteran, member U.S. Army Reserve, and FBI Community Outreach Specialist Charles Grady, moderated by Quick Center Executive Director Peter Van Heerden.
