This post-screening virtual roundtable is part of our HI-funded Film Series, "Asian Cinema as World Cinema."
If you have seen Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda's 2008 family drama, "Still Walking," or plan to attend the screening of the film in Kelley Center at 5pm on 10/6, please join us on zoom later in the evening at 8pm with our roundtable speakers, Dr. Dudley Andrew (Yale University); Timothy Amatulli ’19 (Columbia University); Dr. Ive Covaci (Fairfield University).
Moderated by Dr. Jiwei Xiao (Fairfield University).
*Kore-eda is the director of the 2018 film, "Shoplifters," which won the Palm d'or at the Cannes Film Festival.
