Patients and Performance - Standardized Patient Workshop

Have a love for theatre? Do you want to give back to the community? Then Patients and Performance: Health Care Method Acting Certificate is the perfect opportunity for you! The Egan School is pleased to offer this three day immersive acting certificate program FREE in exchange for 10 unpaid hours in the role of a standardized patient in our new state-of-the-art simulation center. Upon completion of the 10 unpaid hours, standardized patients will earn $18/per hour. During each day's session, we will be layering acting methods in improv, empathy building exercises along with guided experiences that will allow actors to immerse themselves in the role of a patient.

 This certificate program is open to the public.
