13th Annual Lecture in Jewish and Christian Engagement “Female Faith Leaders in Collaboration: Rabbis, Nuns, and Ministers for (nearly) 50 Years” featuring Rabbi Carole B. Balin, PhD; Professor Emerita of History at Hebrew Union College and Response by Dr. Elena Procario-Foley, Iona College. This lectureship will be held on Thursday, April 4th, at 7:30 pm, in the Dolan School of Business Dining Room.
Rabbi Carole B . Balin, will discuss the power of relationships among female faith leaders within the Jewish and Christian communities, with a focus on the last 50 years. With the advent of second-wave feminism in the United States, women have joined together in unprecedented numbers to inspire, support and collaborate with one another, enhancing their spiritual and professional lives and bringing healing to our broken world.
