Anya graduated from Duke University in 2017, where she majored in Economics. She credits Duke for cultivating her passion for business and co-founded her first company during her sophomore year of college with support from the University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative. In addition to winning the 2018 Duke Start-Up Challenge Grand Prize of $50,000, Anya has served on the Business and Finance Committee of Duke's Board of Trustees. She also sat on the University's Advisory Committee for Investment Responsibility, which assesses ethical issues that pertain to asset allocation in the Duke Endowment.
