ITS Upgrading All Users to Window 10

Microsoft has announced the end of support for Windows 7 as of January 2020.  As such, Information Technology Services is in the process of upgrading all users to Windows 10.

 If you are unsure of which operating system you’re running you can click the Start button and type “Winver” and hit enter.  An “About Windows” box will appear and on the top it will say Windows 7, or Windows 10.

 If you have Windows 7, please:

• backup all your documents and data to your Dropbox folder
• schedule an upgrade by opening a ticket with the Help Desk by visiting https://fairfield-apps.easyvista.com/s/its Please have your asset tag (red sticker beginning with C****) information when opening the ticket. 

 *** If you are eligible for a new machine in this year’s computer refresh, you will automatically receive Windows 10 on your new machine; no further action is needed. ***
