ITS Assets in Workday

Our Workday system is now being utilized to track ITS Assets that have been issued to Fairfield University and Prep employees. This will enable the University ITS department to better track our computer inventory, to manage the refresh process, and to ultimately provide better control during the hire, change job or termination business processes.

The data collection effort behind this initiative was substantial, requiring the IT team to combine legacy ITS Asset data from several resources. Please review the computer assets that have been assigned to you in Workday by following the steps below:

• Access Workday-Production from my.Fairfield
• Click on your photo in the upper right corner, then click "View Profile"
• In the blue margin on the left side, click "Company Property"
• Verify your computer model and Asset Tag number
