Enterprise Computing Ticket Reminder

 

The Enterprise Computing Team in ITS manages requests for all student and academic data (Banner, Degree Works, registration, grades, etc.).  This is a friendly reminder that these types of requests should be made via a ticket with the Help Desk and can take 5-7 business days for processing.  We ask that you please plan ahead to avoid last minute, urgent requests. We also ask that you kindly refrain from contacting individual team members directly with request.  All requests must be submitted via the ticketing system and with the proper approval, in order to be processed in the most efficient manner.

 

Upon submitting a ticket, there is a field for Desired Due Date.   Please keep in mind, if a due date is submitted, it is not guaranteed that it will be processed on that date.  We do our best to triage tickets daily.  Some requests turn out to be more complex than others and as a result, can extend processing time.   

 

We understand emergencies arise from time to time, but these should be rare and should include a valid business reason for the emergency. Too often, especially at busy times in the semester, we see a flood of emergency tickets that could have been avoided with proper planning. We are always happy to meet with your department to plan out the semester ahead.

 

As a final note, we often see the same requests semester after semester.  When we can, we like to convert these requests into reports that staff can run at their discretion with various reporting tools.  If there are requests common by semester or other times of the year, please note that in your ticket and we will work with you to create a custom report you can run whenever you need new data.
