Workday 2021R1 Feature Release - Coming March 13th!
Our Workday system for HCM, Finance and Payroll will be updated as part of the 2021R1 Feature Release on Saturday, 3/13/2021. Workday schedules two major Feature Releases per year, in March and September, providing new features, functionality and enhancements. The 2021R1 Release will include over 250 new or enhanced features, of which the Fairfield Workday Team will review for potential future implementation.
Some features that will be immediately available are:
- Workday Assistant - Workday has expanded the capabilities of Workday Assistant to include queries regarding personal worker information and time entry / time approvals
- Time Tracking - Time Entry Calendar redesign to facilitate easier navigation when entering hours
- Time Approvals - Managers will be able to utilize new Review Time filters to more easily approve time
- Receipt Scanning for Expense reporting - Workday has added OCR to the receipt scanning process using the Workday Mobile app so that Merchant Name, Purchase Date and Purchase Amount will automatically populate as an expense item.
- Reporting Enhancements - Workday has added a new "Table View" and "Change Selection" feature.
