Reception & Panel: Women in Management

How did Hildreth Meière develop strong collaborative working relationships with the craftsmen who executed her mosaics and sculptures? How many of the challenges that she faced in the early 20th century are still experienced by women in management positions today?

Join us for an interdisciplinary panel discussion on Wednesday, September 18th at 6 p.m. in the Dolan School of Business led by Curator of Education Michelle DiMarzo, Dr. Catherine C. Giapponi (Associate Professor of Management), and Dr. Elizabeth Hohl (Assistant Professor of the Practice of the History Department). A reception will precede the event at 5 p.m., generously supported by the Travelers Insurance Company.

This lecture is presented in conjunction with "Hildreth Meière: The Art of Commerce" located in the museum's Bellarmine Hall Galleries which is on view through September 21, 2019.
