PART I – Create a Compelling Project Budget
January 27, 2021 from 12-1PM - https://Fairfield.zoom.us/j/97014346903
With primary focus on foundation grants, our discussion aims to provide a fresh perspective on developing a budget. The Office of Research and Grants (ORG) team will help you learn to:
- Write a grant budget that paints a compelling picture of your goals and story in numbers
- Identify the main components of a project budget for research or a program
- Draft a budget narrative that elaborates on your budget items
PART II – Track your Impact
February 2, 2021 from 12-1PM - https://Fairfield.zoom.us/j/91249143681
With primary focus on foundation grants, our discussion will emphasize how to keep track of your grant budget. A member of the Finance Department will join the ORG team to offer a live-tutorial on how to record and monitor your expenses in Workday, including tips and good practices.
