BCC Network - Downtime Saturday November 21st @ 6am

The reason for the outage:

 ITS will be installing new hardware to our Network to support faster connection speeds.

The date and time of the shutdown:

November 21^st from 6am to 8am.

Services that will be down:

All Network Connectivity including Wi-Fi will be unavailable. Phones will not be online during the planned outage.

What will be done then:

ITS will be installing critical hardware updates that will connect the Barone Campus Center to the data network at a much higher rate of speed.

If everything goes as planned:

The network connectivity will be considerably faster, and will alleviate issues being seen with Zoom and other communication systems.

What do we need you to do:

Avoid using the network from the BCC during this scheduled work time. Please use a cell phone for communications during this work period.
