About This Webinar

"The Dynamics of Music Industries: Business Models and Innovation" will explore the dynamics of the music industry and its evolution with a focus on “hits and misses” as they relate to technology, innovation, marketing, and consumer relations. The forum will provide an overview of the music industry including business model, breadth, and key players. Mattera will also share about his professional journey in the industry, explain how he merged his passion for music and business to carve out his career path, and offer advice for those interested in/currently pursuing a career in field. The current state of the music industry, including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic will also be discussed. The webinar will close with a look at the future of the music industry, where it’s heading, and how one should anticipate possible opportunities within its changing landscape.
