Join Fr. Francis Hannafey, former professor of Religious Studies at Fairfield University and current Parochial Vicar at Old St. Joseph's Church in Philadelphia, for a virtual discussion on the Jesuits in China. Learn about the early history of the Jesuit presence in China, stemming from Fr. Matteo Ricci’s missionary work in the 16th century, as well as what Christianity and Catholicism are like there today. Fr. Hannafey will also share some of his own experiences from his extended stays in China in recent years.
