Life@Fairfield is Live!

Dear Campus Partners,

Thank you for your patience throughout this migration process!  We are happy to announce that Life@Fairfield is officially live for all users!

All Organization Portals, Files, Forms + Submissions, Events, Photos, and basic User & Portal data migrated successfully from OrgSync last week.  The Migration Team has been working around the clock reorganizing the Organization Portals to fit our new Branch structure, setting up and testing registration/re-registration processes for each of the Branches, creating Position Templates, cleaning up and updating Membership Rosters (Users in University Departments & Centers portals), uploading new Profile pictures, assigning Portal Administrators to each organization portal, uploading Involvement Imports, and learning the new features that we will be rolling out over the next couple of weeks (GivePulse, Club Finance, & Paths).

We still have work ahead of us over the next couple of weeks with uploading a more robust User profile for each of our Users, Archiving old Users, and launching the above mention features, but we feel confident that Life@Fairfield is ready to be used as it is!

To log in, go to fairfield.edu/lifeatfairfield or log into my.fairfield.edu and search for "Life@Fairfield" and log-in using your NetID & password.

For those of you whom have been asking about training sessions for Life@Fairfield, training will take place in three phases over the next couple of months:

Phase 1:  Heavy-usage Departments & Centers will receive department-specific trainings over the next couple of weeks to help you get up and running sooner rather than later.  We know certain folks relied heavily on OrgSync to help run a multitude of processes within their offices, and we know you have been itching to get your hands on Life@Fairfield, so we will be reaching out to set up trainings with your staff shortly (if we've not done so already).

Phase 2:  For those Departments & Centers using GivePulse to track service hours and service learning hours within their respective areas, we will be working with you to get our GivePulse community up and running as soon as possible so you can begin building out your Community Partner sites quickly.  In addition, we will also be working with individuals Departments & Centers who have expressed interest in utilizing the Paths module to help track co-curricular learning and development within your program offerings as well. We anticipate rolling these features out over the next couple of weeks.

Phase 3:  We will be hosting several Life@Fairfield 101 Training Sessions during the months of August and September for the medium to light usage Departments & Centers, and for anyone else that would like to learn more about the capabilities of the platform.  Keep an eye out for announcements about registering for these trainings in August!

In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Jeremy Kaler with any questions you have, and don't forget to check out the Engage Help Center (https://engagesupport.campuslabs.com/hc/en-us#!) which has some amazing How-To Guides (video and text-based guides) and some really good information.  We highly recommend checking it out if you are someone who likes to learn on their own (but might need help every once in a while).

Thank you again to everyone that helped make the migration possible, especially ITS and Marking & Communications!  We couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you again for your patience and hope you enjoy Life@Fairfield!

Sincerely,

Life@Fairfield Migration Team
