Virtual Online Computer Camp and Day Camp at Fairfield University

Now in its 42nd year, National Computer Camp is America's original computer camp since 1977.  NCC is directed by Michael Zabinski, professor of mechanical engineering at Fairfield. The focus of NCC is programming languages, App programming, video game design, web page design, minecraft modding, Arduino programming, and software applications including animation, Flash and graphics. An optional sports program is also available. Each week NCC offers all levels of programming in Python, Basic, C++, Java, assembler, HTML, and JavaScript. The coed campers ages 8-18 may attend one or multi-week sessions with a continuous curriculum that is age appropriate and suitable for beginners to advanced.

Campers may sign up for a virtual camp or on site day camp. A morning only camp is available for 6 to 8 year old campers. The virtual camp is identical in scope as the on site day camp except the campers communicate from home.

An extended day program is available at no extra charge. The camp is ideal for both experienced and first time campers. Faculty and staff are offered a $100 per week discount for day camp and a $50 per week discount for virtual camp.
