Seeking New Residential College Mentors for 2020-2021
Looking to connect with students, share insight and become part of a dynamic community? Consider becoming a mentor in the Sophomore Residential College program. We are seeking new mentors for next year’s vibrant program, which will serve over one-third of our sophomore class!
The three Sophomore Residential Colleges: Creative Life, Ignatian Leadership, and Service for Justice encourage sophomores to grow intellectually, socially and spiritually through an Ignatian lens, asking the questions: Who Am I? Whose Am I? How Am I Called?
Our wonderful mentors spend the academic year accompanying a small group of students by facilitating monthly discussions. Over 60 faculty, campus partners, alumni and community leaders volunteer as mentors. Mentors have a wide variety of backgrounds including business, law, healthcare, education and the arts. The Residential College Program supports the growth and development of mentors through monthly dinners, seminars and invitations to University events.
