Library Support for Online Courses

• We have added a number of faculty supports and resources to the Instructional Continuity wiki set up by CAE and Academic Computing. Resources include instruction on incorporating various media into Blackboard/Quip, copyright & fair use, connecting from off-campus, and a few instructional tutorials on the basics of using the library website.

• Research and course guides: Research guides list library resources relevant to a particular discipline. Course guides are tailored to the needs of a particular course or assignment. We are happy to create a course guide for you, or help you determine whether linking to a research guide would be sufficient.

• For students in need of research assistance please refer them to our Ask a Librarian page. If there are changes to research support services, they will be reflected on this page.

•  In the event of a sustained closure, the DiMenna-Nyselius Library has developed a continuity plan that details the services we can provide virtually. I would encourage you to share a link to the plan with your students so they know the ways they can reach us for support.

•  If you would like to use an eBook for a course please reach out to Curtis Ferree at cferree@fairfield.edu. We can also assist in seeking alternatives to print resources.
