Community-Engaged Learning Course Development Grants
Dear Faculty,
The Center for Social Impact’s Community-Engaged Learning Program is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Community-Engaged Learning Course Development Grants.
For faculty who are interested in developing a new Community-Engaged Learning course or revising an existing course to include Community-Engaged Learning, we offer our Course Development and Co-Mentoring Program Grants. These grants and the resulting Co-Mentoring Program have been in existence for over 10 years and have led to the development of over 50 community-engaged learning courses. We continue to offer this grant opportunity as our primary pathway for developing sustainable community-engaged learning courses as well as a strong community of scholar-practitioners. Each award is $2,750.
The application can be downloaded here. Proposals are due on Friday, March 27, 2020 and should be submitted to andrea.canuel@fairfield.edu.
For additional questions, please contact Andrea Canuel, Associate Director for Community-Engaged Learning or Betsy Bowen, Faculty Chair of Community-Engaged Learning and Professor of English.
