Developing Resilience and Dealing with Change
Date: 02-23-2019
Time: 09:00
Location: Canisius Hall 009
On Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9am-1pm there will be a free seminar being offered at Fairfield University, Canisius Hall 009.
This seminar will focus on the one constant that we can count upon, CHANGE.
As the tempo of change continues to increase, it places greater and greater demands on our ability to respond effectively. Thus it is imperative that we understand and apply the principles of resilience - bouncing back from these changes and dealing with personal changes. Resilience is a skill that can be practiced and learned. There are certain caveats that must be understood and applied to ensure that resilience works for us.
After attending this program, you will be able to:
*Identify the key results of extensive & intensive change
*Explain the impact of positive & disruptive stress
*Define resilience & methods for developing it
*Practice resilient behaviors using case studies
*Develop an action plan for improving their resilience
