Service Immersion Experience on Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation - Applications due 2/14

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, February 14th

Each August, students travel to South Dakota with Peter Bayers, Professor of English to work with Simply Smiles on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation.  Students help construct homes, maintain the community garden, and facilitate a summer camp for youth on the Reservation. This year, the program will run from Saturday, August 22nd - Sunday, August 30th, 2020. (Classes begin for the fall 2020 semester on Tuesday, September 1, 2020).
