University Students Host Two Community Halloween Events for Local Families

Location: Mahoney Arena and Lantern Point

Fairfield University is excited to invite local families to two festive Halloween celebrations designed to bring together the campus and greater Fairfield community.

 

Fairfield Athletics Trunk or Treat — Thursday, October 30
Join Fairfield Women’s Varsity Teams for the inaugural Fairfield Athletics Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Leo D. Mahoney Arena.

Student-athletes from Fairfield’s women’s varsity teams will decorate their “trunks” and hand out candy to local children. Families are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy a fun, safe, and spirited Halloween celebration. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome to attend.

Trick or Treating at Lantern Point — Friday, October 31

On Halloween, Friday, October 31, Fairfield University students living at Lantern Point will host a community “Trick-or-Treat” from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Local children and their families are invited to visit students’ houses for candy, costumes, and festive decorations.

 

“Fairfield University students are thrilled to offer two exciting opportunities this week for trick or treaters in the Fairfield community,” said Jennifer Anderson, VP of marketing and communications. “These events are about celebrating together, sharing traditions, and giving our local youth a safe, fun way to enjoy the holiday.”
