The History Department is pleased to offer a student-centered lecture and discussion series this year linked to the anniversary of the founding of the United States: "America 250/History Edition."

Our first lecture was a huge success, and we are excited for the 2nd lecture in our series.  Events will be in the Barone Campus Center's ground floor, from 5:30-6:45pm, with pizza and refreshments served. Topics address important civics concepts appropriate to the current moment, and the thorough study of the full history of our country.

BCC Lower Level from 5:30-6:45pm

Lecture 2: Wednesday, November 19

"Build the Wall: The Separation of Church and State"

Lecture 3: Monday, December 1

All members of the campus community are welcome; students are particularly encouraged to attend, and there will be time for open discussion. The series is scheduled to continue into the fall semester of 2026.
