In this timely and though-provoking lecture, Dr. David Greenberg will examine the extraordinary life and career of John Lewis—renowned civil rights leader and longtime U.S. Congressman—as a compelling framework for understanding how principled leadership and moral courage can inform our responses to today’s complex social and political challenges.
Author of John Lewis: A Life (Simon & Schuster, 2024). David Greenberg is a professor of History and of Journalism & Media Studies at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and a frequent commentator in the national news media on contemporary politics and public affairs. He specializes in American political and cultural history.
