New Identity Management System Coming Soon

Information Technology Services is excited to announce that we are moving from NetIQ to Okta for our identity management. Okta is a modern, secure, cloud-based identity management platform that will allow you to access University applications easily and safely.

Why are we moving to Okta?

• Cloud-based – users will be able to access Okta from anywhere in the world in any web browser, on your computer or mobile device.
• Enhanced security and modern authentication – Okta provides additional data that helps to identify cyber threats more easily and utilizes a modern security framework with a zero-trust approach
• Seamless integration with SaaS applications – Okta easily integrates with most of the applications that we use including Workday, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and others.

Keep an eye on FairfieldToday for more news about the transition to Okta. Additional communications will be sent regarding which applications will start using Okta authentication before our full transition to Okta this September.
