Register Today for Lil’ Stags Field Hockey Clinic

The Fairfield University Field Hockey Team is excited to continue the Lil’ Stags Field Hockey Clinic. The Lil' Stags Field Hockey Clinic has welcomed players of all ages to University Field to learn the sport of field hockey. These instructional field hockey clinics are for girls and boys in grades PreK-5th grade and will take place on University Field at the Fairfield University campus.The clinics will run from 10:30-11:30 am on Saturdays on the following dates: 

1. September 6
2. September 13
3. September 20
4. October 4
5. October 25 ***recognition at UConn Game on Sunday, October 26th***

Registration includes membership to the Lil' Stags Club, the official kids club of Fairfield University Athletics. Membership runs from August 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 and includes a Lil’ Stags Club t-shirt, admission to select Fairfield University Basketball games at Leo D. Mahoney Arena, admission to all other home games on campus (100+ games each year!), a Lil' Stags Drawstring Bag, and exclusive opportunities to meet Lucas the Stag & Fairfield University student-athletes. 

• The clinic will be overseen by Head Coach Laura Gebhart and Assistant Coach Kaelyn Long.
• The coaching staff and players will implement age-appropriate drills and a comprehensive curriculum to introduce basic field hockey skills. 
• Participants will have the opportunity to meet and be mentored by successful student-athletes.
• All participants will be recognized at Stags home game against University of Connecticut on Sunday, October 26th at 12:00 pm. 
• All participants will need shin guards, stick and a mouth guard.
• Field Hockey sticks are available at a discounted price and will be available first day of the clinics. Please contact Coach Laura Gebhart by 9/3, if you are planning on buying a stick at lgebhart@fairfield.edu.
