Mandatory Compliance Training for all Fairfield University Employees
Dear Administrators, Faculty, and Staff,
Each year, mandatory compliance training is required for faculty and staff to ensure adherence to federal, state, and University policies. This includes full-time, part-time, and temporary employees, regardless of any similar training completed in the past.
Fairfield’s compliance training is now live and available on Blackboard. There are four modules that are required. Per current CT law, the Sexual Harassment Prevention module will only have to be taken every ten years.
The following modules are included:
CHRO Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (per CT law requirements)
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act FERPA
Title IX Overview and Complaint Process
Review of the Fairfield University Employee Handbook
Accessing the Training:
1. Log in to my.fairfield. 2. Search for “HR Compliance Training” and select the app. 3. You’ll be prompted to log in to Blackboard. 4. Once logged in, you’ll have access to all of the training materials.
Deadline: All trainings must be completed by October 31, 2025
If you have any technical questions, please contact the Academic Computing team at academiccomputing@fairfield.edu and for questions about the content or HR related matters, feel free to reach out to Human Resources at hr@fairfield.edu.
