School of Nursing Food Drive

Location: Egan School of Nursing Parking Lot

Fairfield University Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Students, in collaboration with local organizations including the Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT), Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, and Southwest Community Health, will be co-hosting an on-campus Food Collection Day on Friday, June 6th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Collection of food items will take place within designated parking spots in the parking lot of the Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies. There will also be designated food drop off locations, set up by the students, before the Food Collection Day. 

See below for a list of the most needed food items.

Full size large cereal boxes

Boxes of individual oatmeal packets,  

                assorted flavors

Rice – large family size packages

Boxed pasta

Spaghetti sauce

Tortilla or soft taco shells

Shelf-stable boxed milk (example: Horizon

            or Parmalat) Large or individual size

Canned tuna or other canned meats

Dry beans – 1lb bag

Canned vegetables

Granola bars

Peanut Butter
