2025 Student Research Symposium on Wednesday, April 23rd

The 2025 Student Research Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 23, in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena.  Throughout the day, approximately 530 students will present their research projects during three sessions.  Please join us for as much of the day as your schedule allows!

Session I:  Capstone and Course-Based Projects
11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

• College of Arts & Sciences
• Dolan School of Business
• Egan School of Nursing & Health Studies
• School of Education & Human Development

 Session II:  Faculty-Mentored Independent Student Research Projects
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

o   Sigma Xi Research Projects in Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Math, Physics, and Psychological & Brain Sciences

o   School of Engineering & Computing Independent Research Projects

o   School of Engineering and Computing Senior Design Projects

o   Independent Projects in CAS, Dolan, Egan and SEHD

Session III:  Egan School of Nursing & Health Studies Projects
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• Nursing Capstone Projects 
• Egan Graduate Student Projects

There will also be a brief program with remarks from Provost Siegel, and a reception from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

 A concurrent session featuring VPA Student Exhibitions will be held from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., in Loyola Hall’s Lukacs and Experimental Space Galleries, and the CSI End of Year Celebration will take place at 5:00 p.m., in the Kelley Center.
