APPLY NOW: Summer Service Immersion Program in South Dakota

Each August, students travel to South Dakota with Peter Bayers, Professor of English to work with Simply Smiles on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation.  Students help construct homes, maintain the community garden, and facilitate a summer camp for youth on the Reservation. This year, the program will run from August 24th - September 1st, 2019. (Classes begin for the fall 2019 semester on September 3, 2019).
