New Library Resources
As of this semester, the DiMenna-Nyselius Library now offers the following to students, faculty, and staff:
- OverDrive, via the Libby app, providing access to popular audiobooks and ebooks. Download the Libby app to read and listen on a mobile device. If you already use the Libby app through your public library, add Fairfield University to your list of libraries. Sign in with your NetID. View or search our OverDrive collection in the app. Titles are also indexed within our library catalog. We are just starting to build our OverDrive collection and will add more titles throughout the coming months. Suggest a purchase here.
- Upcoming Event: Welcome to OverDrive, Tues. Feb. 4th, 1-4pm, Library lobby. Get assistance setting up your account and tell us what titles and genres you think we should add as we start to build up our new OverDrive collection.
- The Palace Project, a platform to discover audiobooks and ebooks. Download the app and use your Fairfield email to view the collection. This resource is made available to us through the CT State Library.
- Upgraded Zotero subscription to UNLIMITED storage space. Current Zotero users, and new users, can now enjoy unlimited storage space to attach pdfs and other files. Zotero is an application that collects, manages, and cites research sources. See the Library’s Zotero guide for more information about how to sign up for an account.
- Upcoming Event: Zotero and BrowZine Overview, Wed. Jan. 29th, 5-6pm, Library rm 114. Learn about the Library's Zotero and BrowZine subscriptions and get help setting up your accounts. BrowZine enables you to easily discover and view our academic e-journal collection, and Zotero is a citation and research management tool. Register here: https://libcal.fairfield.edu/event/13822335
