Destress for Success: Pro Tips for a Healthy Mind, Body, and Spirit in 2020
Date: 12-11-2019
Time: 08:30 AM
Location: Faculty Dining Room, Tully Dining Hall
Join the Student Life and Friends Professional Development Committee for our last event of the decade! We all know that this time of year can be overwhelming, and at points it can be difficult to balance multiple priorities and responsibilities--work, family, friends, finances, life-long learning, etc.! Therefore, we have gathered campus partners who will share some stress reduction tools to help send you into 2020 with a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Breakfast will begin at 8:30am (vouchers for the Tully will be given out at the door) and the program will begin at 9am. Highlights of the morning include:
9am- Exploring Mindful Eating
9:15am- Managing Time Utilizing Stephen Covey's 4 Quadrants
9:30am- Examen Exercise
9:45am- Raffle and Announcements
We ask that you bring at least one non-perishable food item to be donated to the on-campus student food pantry, located in the lower level of the Egan Chapel. More information about the food pantry and a list of suggested items can be found on the Life@Fairfield event page (link below). Please RSVP on Life@Fairfield by Tuesday, December 10th.
If you have any questions and/or suggestions for future professional development opportunities, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of the committee members. Have a wonderful rest of your semester and we look forward to seeing you on December 11th!
