Mittens, Gloves, and Hats - oh my!

The Fairfield University Honors program is working to support Filling in the Blanks’ (fillingintheblanks.org) mission of getting food into the hands of school children who go hungry over the weekend. This month, we are working with them on filling a brand-new backpack (valued at $40 each) for each child, filled with special items for the holidays, including a new toy, new book, gloves, hat, pancake mix/syrup, etc. The Honors Program is collecting new gloves, hats, and mittens for them – if you are able, get some over Thanksgiving and bring them back to Fairfield. Collection bins will be in DMH 255 and in Jogues Hall, first floor until noon on December 12.
